Had this ML350 come into the shop after it broke it’s drive belt. I replaced the belt, idle, and tensioner rollers, but after doing that, found we had a huge oil leak coming out the front crank shaft seal. I pulled the front crank pulley off to see why it was leaking. Turns out there was a small piece of shredded belt that jammed between the seal and the pulley. I have never seen that before! Had a friend drop off his 97 SL600 for a quick service and CEL diagnosis. Really cool car! Unfortunately the CEL is due to a bad catalytic converter, so we are researching options for that right now! Had this MB C280 come into the shop for a broken trunk spring attachment and a pair of floppy mirrors. The trunk spring was actually easy, the welded tab the spring attaches to broke off, but there was another area for attachment that worked just fine. Had this nice little 560SEC come into the shop today for a few issues. A strong smell of fuel at random times, a clunking rear suspension, and a wiggy instrument cluster are among the issues currently. Some more daily driver work
Yup, we dabble in Mercedes work as well 😉 This one came through for a quick oil change and inspection going into the winter months. Pretty straight forward with no surprises. Some fresh mobil 1 and filter, a top off of all the fluids, and we sent this one on it’s way.
