Last night I kept running ideas through my head of what could be causing our full heat issue in the 951. While the CCU and vacuum solenoid seemed like obvious candidates, I have never really seen one fail like this. This morning before I headed to the office, I started testing the units. Saturday I headed over and hung out with some very good friends of mine to do a little “KCWS wrenching.” We had 3 people that wanted to do their brakes, and Scott needed some help working on his 951 replacing the entire exhaust, motor mounts, a Lindsey oil cooler, and Vitesse wasted spark system. Tackled the 928S4 this morning that was having a full heat issue in the cabin.  After some searching, I discovered that there was no vacuum to the heater control valve (defaults to full heat when not working), which was the root of our problem.  Next I had to figure out why there was no vacuum there when the heater knob was turned to “cold.”  I started by taking the mityvac to all the vacuum lines to try and track down …
