ZR3 Laser Shifters

I finally got around to removing the Escort ZR3 laser shifters from the Dragon when I had it home. I will be installing these in the M as it will be the one seeing street time. Well since I am in the radar/laser shifter installing mode, I figured I would borrow the GT3RS and get that done as well. I had previously installed the rear shifter when I had the bumper off to do the exhaust, but hadn’t had time to get the rest of it done. Shifter kit minus the rear shifter. Finally got around to installing the GMG headers and center muffler section on the GT3RS. Overall differences in weights were minimal. The OE headers/cats were sighly lighter than the GMG headers and the GMG center section was lighter than the OE center section slightly.  The sound at idle is slightly louder, but very civil.  The sound at 4500rpms when the valves open on the stock mufflers, is incredible!  Getting started:  We also have a set of quad laser intercepters to …

Slapped new brake pads in for a buddy and helped him with his V1 hardwire install.  There are a couple of ways to do the V1’s in the 996, I usually like to pull power from a plug in the center console.  On a non-auto dimming mirror car, you can hide everything up in the sunroof control/light area, but with the dimming mirror, space is a little tighter.
