SPEC Boxster Build Part 6

Finally seeing the end in sight for a little while anyway. With a HPDE/Club race coming up this weekend, I finally got the car corner balanced, aligned, and the rear trunk lid secured. We also had the wrap crew come out and get the car looking like a race car. Today we will load it up, head to the track for some final tuning, and then bring it back and finish the cage this winter in preparation for racing next year!

Another small finishing touch was having Mike’s crew fabricate me a rear bumper screen. I got that installed earlier this week, which finished off the rear of the car nicely.

And the aerokit latch installed in the trunk.

And a simple reinforced 90 degree bracket for the hood pin.

I think the colors came out great on the car, can’t wait to see it buzzing around on the track!

Wow! That car is sharp, clean and tasteful.
Like the comprehensive approach you took.

That car looks brand new! Nice job. Enjoyed following its transformation into a spec car.
