Some track video ;)

Some on track video we shot today at the KS Speedway. 1.2gig download, but well worth the wait 😉 I can’t figure out how to imbed it and keep the quality decent. Youtube quality was horrible.

Congrats! You guys probably had to be threatened to within an inch of your life to make those runs yesterday. My hats off to you especially for mastering the Richard Petty line on the oval.

Will one set of brake pads survive a full (20 minute session) DE Day?

I would think brake pads would be just fine. You aren’t braking for the majority of the track, and right now, there are essentially only 3 hard braking zones. The other corners you shouldn’t have to touch your brakes. If they modify the back straight for a chicane, then that would add another braking zone, but decrease how hard you are on that and one other corner.

Awesome simply awesome. How much is it to run out there?

You would need to contact some of the local organizations and express your desire to have a drivers education event at the Speedway, such as the Porsche club. We were all nationally certified instructors doing a test run on the course. Contact your local KCRPCA and commit to an HPDE event, you won’t regret it.

As you brought to my attention I will need to get my entire front suspension sorted first. 🙂
