Porsche Cayenne Driveshaft
This is like a recurring post, lol. Another Cayenne in the shop today for a blow driveshaft carrier bearing. Under moderate acceleration you will feel a thumping vibration in the drivetrain, and it is always the driveshaft 🙂
Easy way to test is to grab the driveshaft and see how much it wobbles at the center carrier bearing.
Not a bad job to replace, drop the exhaust down and you have access to it.
And out of the car. You can see the center carrier brace is broken free from the bearing.
What it should look like!
And the exhaust disconnected and driveshaft out. Reinstall and out the door!
