Busy Week
The PCA club race and DE is coming up this coming weekend, so this week should be pretty busy. I was back from St Louis no sooner than 15 minutes before the first car showed up for service. 2 hours later, I had 3 sitting here, lol.
Back for an oil change, set the boost controller, and a boost gauge.
Boost controller hidden down under the glove box out of the reach of the driver….for a reason, lol.
Up in the air for an oil change. Fresh 15w-50
And the boost gauge mounted in a modified 968 cubby.
Then it was time for a 996C4S oil change, brake flush, and DE inspection.
Each DE club will have a tech form you will have to fill out for registration. It was ask for inspection of various aspects of the car, including brakes, tires, suspension, seats, lighting, etc. That last thing you want on the track is a car that isn’t in 100% tip top shape.

The Schnell transaxle bolt on unit is about the only unit available for the rear anymore. If you change your shift knob as well, you can install the kokeln/lindsey racing shift lever which mounts in the cabin versus at the transaxle end.
