Porsche 964 Oil Change
Saw something today that was a little baffling while changing the oil on this 964 C4. While I have pretty extensive knowledge with the C4 system, I have never seen someone block off the line to the longitudinal slave cylinder before. This slave cylinder controls the locking rate between the front and rear diffs, so I assume the front wheels aren’t powered any longer. The C4 pump is still in place and active, so it is a bit weird. Not sure why someone wouldn’t just fix the system properly.
Hard to see, but the line to the slave is disconnected and blocked off.
