86 Targa Build Nearing Completion

This has been a really long project for this full restomod build of the 86 Targa. It has been here and there getting custom work done, such as the carpet, stereo, etc, finally it is back here to finish setting a few things before sending it down the road.

The paint came out incredible, and the polishing detail on things like the targa bar is pretty amazing.

The RSR style fuchs wheels look great. I have been playing with a bunch of turn signal and lighting wiring since it came back from paint on stuff that wasn’t working, so almost everything working there now. Have one rear turn signal that is giving fits, but I’ll figure it out eventually.

The rear targa glass was a royal PITA to get installed, but finally completed after many tries.

Sport seats are installed and hiding the huge stereo system in the car. Not my gig, but to each their own. The stereo does sound incredible….but so does the engine!

McIntosh head unit, focal door speakers, and fosgate subs. I’m not a stereo guy at all, but man is it clear.

We need to fine tune the ride height, get the A/C charged, and have the stereo dude button everything up, and I think we can finally say goodbye to this one!
