2015 PCA Ladies Autocross This Sunday! (4/1915)

What is autocross? Autocross is a friendly form of competition where a person navigates their car through a predetermined course defined by cones, similar to a racetrack layout. It is not hard on a car and is a great learning tool that teaches quick reaction and car control, all while having fun!

The Kansas City Region PCA is holding their annual “Ladies Only” autocross at the Ameristar Casino parking lot this Sunday! This has always been a great hit in the past, and we encourage all lady KCRPCA members to bring their cars out and learn car control and speed in a laid back and controled environment! We have instructors available for those that have never done it, and don’t let being new scare you away, everyone has had a great time in the past and you WILL learn something new about what you and your car can do! We typically run from 9am until noon-1ish, though you may want to arrive a little early to walk the course with the group to better see the layout. KCRPCA does have a limited supply of loaner helmets to use, so don’t worry about lack of equipment. Bring your car out and have a blast!

Registration is best done online at www.clubregistration.net but can be done day of in person. After creating an account on club registration (which we use for multiple PCA club event registrations), search kansas city region PCA and you will find the link to register. We have used different parking lots in the past at the casino, but the lot (we are typically on the west side of the large parking garage) is usually pretty easy to find at the Ameristar Casino 3200 North Ameristar Drive Kansas City, MO 64161, near the worlds of fun area of KC. $30 if done online, $40 day of in person.
