1987 Porsche 944 Turbo HPDE Car For Sale

We are listing this car for a customer. I can answer any mechanical questions you may have about the car (use the contact us link on the website), otherwise please direct all questions to the owner of the car Matt Sweeney msweeney (at) lockton.com

The original plan for this car was to slowly transform the car from an HPDE prepped track car into an SP2 full race car for PCA racing. This was to be done as the owner transitioned from HPDE to a race license. He has since started racing endurance series on a team car (BMW), and no longer has any need for this car. The car is still in the original lightweight, gutted, HPDE style track car setup. It has never been raced, only used in HPDE. Owner drove it to and the from the track.

What it needs:
1. The owner had an off track incident at MAM where he somehow broke a tab off the lower balance shaft housing cover that holds the power steering pump to the bracket. The bracket will need to be replaced. Currently the steering is manual steering as the pump is tied up and out of the until the bracket is replaced.
2. A bath and some detailing. It has been sitting unused in storage for this entire last season and is very dirty! It fired right up when we pulled it out for pictures!
