1970 Porsche 911T Project.
This little guy came into the shop last week on the flatbed. It was last on the road in 1981! It has been with the same owner for many years (possibly the 2nd owner), who parked it years ago in his garage. Time to get it running and driving 🙂 Not sure exactly what the restoration or partial restoration will entail yet, that is still up to the owner. It definitely has some patina, but it is a super solid car!
The good thing is the car was parked long before ethanol was introduced into fuel, so the metal parts of the fuel system aren’t rusted like we have seen in the last cars.
The interior is in really nice shape.
First thing on the list will be to go through the entire braking system with all new master, pads/rotors/bearings, etc
Obviously after sitting for so many years, it needs both batteries replaced.
And new tires mounted on the 14″ fuchs. Stay tuned as this project progresses!
