She made her maiden voyage this week 🙂 We are sorting out a few bugs that have popped up (like pinholes in the radiator neck, and a bad starter), but all in all for a 45 year old car, it drives great! We may upgrade her to a 4 barrel carb though soon for drive ability improvements.

Well we tried our best. We tried our best to make the Christmas deadline, but we fell a little short. At 7pm on Christmas eve, we were dealt the final blow in the coffin when we discovered a leaking power steering control valve. Try and get replacement parts at 7pm on Christmas Eve….LOL. Last night Wes and I started work on the 65 Mustang that has been sitting for 10 years. We dropped the old gas out of the tank, pulled and replaced the sending unit, flushed the tank, and inspected it for rust. To our surprise, the inside of the tank is in excellent condition and needs no coating, so we buttoned that back together. Wes went after changing out the plugs and fogging the cylinders with oil.
