Porsche 951, The Sherman, Continues RennsportKC

Had a few minutes today to knock out some more work on the Sherman. I am waiting on an exhaust gasket that I stole from Scott so long ago that I forgot about it, before I can put the rest of the exhaust on.

The CEP fuel rail and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator use custom lines which are attached in the fender well.

Old lines are cut and new compression fittings installed so the new lines can screw on to them. Thought I had taken a picture of the lines and such before I put the fenderliner back on, but I guess not. Use your imagination!

Everything plumbed and in place. A custom bracket to hold the FPR in place as well.

Then I built a plate for the Vitesse Wasted Spark Ignition Coil to mount to, and ran the wires.

I built a plate for the ignition amplifiers and mounted down by the DME. In the next couple of days I will finish the wiring at the DME, install the exhaust, and see if it will fire up.

Looking good. That coil looks just like a first gen neons coil.
